Browne has experience, integrity for trustee spot

It is easy to complain about taxes, but do we do anything about them other than grumble to friends and neighbors? Well, a vote for Barbara "Glennie" Browne can make your voice be heard.

Barbara has 23 years of management experience and extensive budget, strategic planning and business development experience. She has an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and currently works for Baxter Healthcare Corporation as Director of Clinical Services (she is also a nurse). She scrutinized the budgets for the AH village, library, and park boards and questioned spending to better understand the necessity for many items. She was instrumental behind the scene in keeping those tax levies minimized.

Many have met her at neighborhood coffees or signed her petition. Unfortunately, Barbara will not be able to attend the League of Women Voters candidate forum. Before deciding to run for trustee she made a commitment to travel with a friend who is celebrating a special birthday. She made a promise and will not break her word.

I know Barbara, and I can assure you her inability to attend the debates is not reflective of her commitment to serving our community. You can learn more about her positions and ideas by visiting www.barbarabrowne.org.

We want transparency and accountability. Barbara Browne is fresh to the political arena so she owes favors to no one. She will ask the tough questions when your tax dollars are being spent. She believes in term limitations even for village trustees so that fresh ideas rather than complacency become the norm.

Vote Barbara "Glennie" Browne on April 7th and vote for budget accountability!
