Two teens shot in Aurora drive-by

Two Aurora men suffered non-life threatening injuries in a drive-by shooting late Sunday night, Aurora police officials said.

The two, ages 18 and 19, were shot at about 9:20 p.m., in the 200 block of Center Street, Aurora police Lt. Dan Ferrelli said.

Officers who responded to the scene found the 18-year-old on the front porch of a home with a gunshot wound to his side/chest and the 19-year-old inside the home with a gunshot wound to the arm, Ferrelli said.

The shots may have been fired from a gold vehicle which was traveling westbound on Center, he added.

Police are pursuing several leads, he said, and the shooting appears to be gang motivated.
