St. Charles Park District to host Easter egg hunt
Join the St. Charles Park District for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, in Pottawatomie Park, 8 North Ave.
Children ages 9 and younger start lining up at 9:45 a.m. Participants meet at the entrance gate to the River View Miniature Golf Course. Parents are asked to keep children behind all lines and wait for the signal in order to avoid false starts and to be fair to everyone.
This program is for the following age groupings: 2 and younger with parent; 3- to 4-year-olds, 5- to 6-year-olds, and 7- to 9-year-olds.
Participants are asked to bring their own baskets to collect the eggs; limit your child to 10 eggs. Remember to bring your camera, too. This event is free to St. Charles Park District residents.
Special thanks to Don McCue Chevrolet and Nestle, who make this event a success every year. Without their support, the park district could not offer this free event to the community.
