Neuqua, Glenbard East, Driscoll, Immaculate Conception take games clobbers Minooka

Neuqua Valley 9, Minooka 1: Colleen Hohman struck out 12 and slugged a 2-run home run to carry the Wildcats (2-0) to a road win. Amanda Mener went 2-for-2 with a stolen base and Jenna Marsalli was 2-for-4 with a triple and 4 runs batted in for Neuqua Valley, which put up 7 runs in the fourth inning.

Glenbard East 6, St. Francis 3: Jenna Camp went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, RBI and 2 runs scored to pace the Rams (3-3). Abby Petersdorf (3-2) struck out six and allowed just 3 unearned runs on 3 hits.

Driscoll 15, Walther Lutheran 1: Tarah McShane went 2-for-3 with a triple and a double and Katelyn Conenna went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI for the Highlanders (2-3). Lisa Matsie added 2 hits and 3 RBI and Danielle Florina notched her first win.

Immaculate Conception 6, Aurora Christian 4: Erin Dunne (1-0) went the distance, striking out 12 for the Knights in Aurora. Briana Osco went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI, including the game-tying and go-ahead runs. Judy Morris knocked in 2 runs. The Knights (1-1) batted around in a 5-run sixth, and escaped a bases-loaded jam in the seventh.
