Lake County briefs

Not guilty:

The Lake County Circuit Court confirms Nanette S. Decosmo-Sternberg, 40, of the 500 block of Meadow Hill Lane, Round Lake Beach, was found not guilty during an April 2, 2008 bench trial of disorderly conduct charges stemming from a Jan. 20, 2008 arrest. Several traffic charges also were dismissed.

Grass Lake School District 36 Enrollment Night:

Kindergarten Enrollment Night for Grass Lake Elementary District 36 is set for Thursday, April 16. Registration will take place in the Kindergarten Room from 5 to 7 p.m. Your child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2009. Bring a certified copy of your child's birth certificate. You must live within District 36 and bring two proofs of residency. Proof of residency is mandatory at registration time.
