Wizards' Arenas on track to start Saturday
WASHINGTON -- Gilbert Arenas is on track to make his season debut Saturday.
And if he does play for the Washington Wizards against the Detroit Pistons, coach Ed Tapscott says the plan is for Arenas to start.
Arenas has been sidelined since having surgery in September. It was the third operation on his left knee in 1ˆ½ years.
The three-time All-Star point guard did some shooting but did not participate fully in Friday's light practice. Arenas already had left for the locker room by the time the practice court was opened to the media.
The Wizards are 17-56. No NBA team has more losses.
