Crabb, Taylor join Wolves

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned right wing Joey Crabb to the Chicago Wolves, who also added center Justin Taylor to their AHL roster.

Crabb recorded two points in three games with the Thrashers after being recalled on March 19, which includes a goal in last night's 6-3 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. The 25-year-old forward has collected 4 goals, 9 points and 28 penalty minutes in 29 games over two stints with Atlanta this season, his first National Hockey League action. The Anchorage, Alaska, native, has posted 14 goals, 27 points and a +13 plus/minus rating in 38 outings with Chicago this season.

Taylor registered 2 goals and 4 points in 13 contests with Chicago earlier this year, before being released on March 12. He also appeared in two American Hockey League outings with the Houston Aeros in October.

The 26-year-old forward has recorded 12 goals, 17 assists and 29 points in 34 outings with the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers this season.

Both players will be available to join the Wolves when they take on the Quad City Flames at I Wireless Center at 7 p.m. today.
