Prospect drops two in Florida

Prospect (0-2) lost its first two games of the season playing in Florida on Monday night.

Old Forge, Pa, blanked the Knights 6-0 as Lisa Dominick and Amanda Mlikan had Prospect's 2 hits.

The Knights' Sam Mangrum had 3 strikeouts in the first four innings while teammate Hanna Lythberg went the final two.

In game two, Barron Collier, Fla., defeated Prospect 7-3.

Lythberg went the first three innings, striking out three while Mangrum threw the final three, striking out two.

Sophomore third baseman Mary Styzek was 2-for-2 for the Knights while Megan Geraghty, Mlikan and Kim Bonchowski had the other hits.
