Naperville North 9, Bolingbrook 3: Nick Giannini's pinch-hit 3-run homer in the sixth inning helped power the Huskies (1-0) to the win in Naperville. Wes Torrez picked up the win by striking out six over 6 innings. Charlie White and Danny Sagan each had 2 hits and 2 RBI.
St. Francis 6, Timothy Christian 3: Casey Riggen and Michelangelo Consiglio went 2-for-3 with a run scored for the Spartans (2-0) in their nonconference win. Mark Salomon (1-0) got the win and Jack Roback earned the save.
