Lisa Stone is strong enough for the job
Eleanor Roosevelt said that a woman is like a tea bag - "you don't know how strong she is until you put her in hot water."
Lisa Stone's strength has already been gauged via her uphill battle to protect the residents of Buffalo Grove against certain dangerous, and potentially deadly, breeds of dogs, pit bulls and Rottweilers.
Her efforts culminated in legislation. Despite the tremendous obstacles, Lisa was unwavering in her commitment to this cause.
Lisa is also loyal, beyond measure. She donated over 75 hours of her personal time, to consult on a project that was important to both me and my family. Lisa worked diligently, and often put her own projects on the back burner.
Eleanor Roosevelt also said "Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, and small minds discuss people." Lisa discusses ideas. Her creativity and ability to think outside of the box, was instrumental to our project.
Many of those who serve in government, serve in puppet positions. Clearly, this will not be the case for Lisa Stone. When called upon by the residents of Buffalo Grove, Lisa will work tenaciously, standing up for our rights and implementing our ideas.
Lisa also fears little. It's rather ironic that Lisa sinks her teeth into something in which she believes, much in the same way that a pit bull sinks his teeth.
Irrespective of the opposition, Lisa will fight! We live in dangerous times - Lisa will work to keep dangerous drugs out of our schools and community (a horrific and exponential problem).
This being said, I strongly believe in Lisa Stone and I look forward to living in a Buffalo Grove with her at the helm.
