Local artists celebrate trees at Elk Grove library
The Artists Association of Elk Grove Village is holding its annual "Trees Exhibit" at the Elk Grove Village Public Library now through Friday, April 24.
The exhibit features 99 works of art by professional and amateur artists from throughout the Northwest suburban area and honors Arbor Day, which is April 24.
The exhibit is in the large meeting room at the library, 1000 Wellington Avenue.
The first place winner is "Northern Woods," an oil painting by Thia Malenchik.
