Stimulus a raw deal for all America

Democrats in Congress passed the biggest pork barrel spending bill that the universe has ever seen, named "Economic Stimulus" based on the premise of soak the rich and give to the poor. The architects of this brave new world are the liberal Democrats headed by Pelosi and Reid of the House and Senate. Obama is just the charismatic pitchman, a shill, of the Liberals.

But what is Obama selling?

Up 'til now the national aim was to lift up other nations to economic parity. Now, the new "economic redistribution" vision dumbs down this nation. The gap between the rich and the poor is narrowed; we are all going to be poor. Brilliant.

This also solves the illegal immigration problem. Why come to a country that is no better than your own. Brilliant!

How about the agenda to nationalize health care, where not doctors but bureaucrat in Washington determines who gets what care? What a great idea to destroy the best, most innovative health care system in the world. Brilliant.

Education? College education for everyone, even if you can't read or write. Brilliant.

Private charities? Limit the amount deductible by the "rich" and dry up charitable giving. Brilliant.

Don't worry, big brother will be there with welfare checks with a note "remember from where this comes, vote Democrat."

Cynical? no just realistic.

This "stimulus" package is just the down payment for the building of a socialist welfare state. But who is going to pay for all this? Silly question, we are all going to be dead by the time this bill comes due.

Democrats fondly recall the glory days of Roosevelt and his New Deal.

The current so called economic recovery plan is not a New Deal, it's a Raw Deal.
