Reward those who did it right

I believe we need to wake up and stop this insane spending by our lobby-supported legislature, who are obviously in bed with the multimillion dollar executives of these "too big to fail" corporations. If we do survive bankruptcy, the consequences of this spending will result in runaway inflation in the next few years. How will people on fixed incomes ever survive? Inflation will be the only way the enormity of this debt can ever be repaid. Where is it written or whoever defined what is a "too big to fail" corporation? No corporation is "too big to fail." If it is, why was it ever allowed to expand to that degree in the first place?

"Too big to fail" is a smoke screen. We are giving billions of dollars to the very corporations and people who caused this crisis in the first place, and to add insult to injury these failures are allowed to continue to pay themselves their multimillion dollar salaries and bonuses with our bailout money. There are thousands of banks, companies and people that didn't fail, aren't failing and are "doing it right!" If any money at all should be paid, it should go to them.

Yes, what about all the responsible people who did it right? They responsibly ran successful companies, they went to work, they paid their bills, they paid their mortgages, they invested and they saved their money. Any money to be distributed should go to those companies and people that did it right.

No, the government thinks it knows better how to spend $1.5 trillion and "stimulate" the economy back to shape! Stop and think that a trillion and a half divided by the total population of 300 million people amounts to $5,000 per person, every man woman and child. If any money at all is to put out, it should be put in the hands of the people who would purchase and spur the economy immediately. Can you imagine how a family of four could use their $20,000 in choosing their expenditures rather than have the government decide how to spend it for them?

How do we get Washington to regulate these crooks and how do we get them to stop this insane spending when they are obviously in bed with them?
