Everyone must keep eye on government
People should poke their heads out of the shell every so often and air their knowledge. It's healthy for young people and the remainder of the population to learn and form opinions on religion and government issues.
People wail about "why don't 'they' do this, and why don't 'they' do that?" They need to learn that the "they" that they refer to is made up of "we" the people.
Many of the college professors are feeding personal feelings about politics, rather than facts, to the students. This is a scary fact.
Maybe this country could come up with a good president every eight years or so if the people understood the issues. The man that was elected this time is an eloquent speaker. He writes and memorizes the words and delivers them flawlessly. He skirts a lot of critical issues and doesn't seem to know where and how we're all going and I wish him and all of us lots of luck.
We need to read, learn and discuss the condition of the planet we live in. It beats television, sex and drugs. Remember what happened to Rome, and they didn't even have televisions or computers.
