The other story on Lake Zurich meeting

In response to Ms. Thode's 3/4/09 letter regarding the Lake Zurich village board meeting, I have one question. Were you in the audience that night? I was, and I was appalled by what I was hearing. The "elderly" citizen that you mentioned was spurting out profanities faster than I could keep track. So if President Tolomei needed to put a stop to her, I say go for it!

Unfortunately, this citizen was not alone in her less-than-standard behavior. Another CARE supporter that was sitting next to me kept telling anyone speaking on behalf of the ENTIRE village of Lake Zurich that they should "Shut the f*** up".

At one point, I had to remind her that she was not at a bar and that she needed to keep those type of comments to herself.

I'm sorry, but how could anyone want our village run by people who have supporters who can be so CAREless with their actions?

Also, if you were there Ms. Thode, you would have notice that Trustee Suzanne Branding seemed to not even be at the meeting. On the few occasions that she did ask questions, they were about things that had already been answered minutes before. How can she run our village when she can't even be engaged in a meeting where she is voting?

Oh that's right, she just abstains.
