Do-not-call law must not apply to politics

The only things that are needed in the stimulus bill are tax cuts and a new law to mete out harsh punishments to those making political phone calls to those of us on the national Do-Not-Call list.

We haven't even gotten past the last exhausting round of elections and political phone calls. I just got an anonymous ("Private Name Private Number") voice message urging me to call Congressman Kirk and ask him to vote for the "stimulus" bill. Can't even call them back to chew them out!

Speak up! Tell us who you are. Stop hiding behind "Private Name Private Number."

Stop these incessant telephonic intrusions on our privacy, or is this administration the beginning of Soviet-style socialism?
