Naperville police investigate Fifth Third Bank robbery
Naperville police and FBI agents are investigating a robbery at a Fifth Third Bank branch in northeast Naperville.
Police were notified of the robbery at 4:10 p.m. The branch is at 1311 Ridgeland Ave., just south of the Naper Boulevard and Ogden Avenue intersection, and about 200 yards from an on-ramp to the eastbound Reagan Memorial Tollway.
Radio communication between responding officers and emergency dispatchers indicated a lone white male suspect was responsible for the heist. Police have yet to release any other details.
