'Pirates in the City' a new stay and play package at the Four Season

Chicago

Yo-ho-ho and a whole lot of fun

"Pirates in the City" has nothing to do with the new parking meter rates in Chicago but rather a fun, staycation-type getaway package at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. Upon check-in, young buccaneers choose a souvenir from a hidden treasure chest of toys at the Concierge Desk; snag some pirate's loot including a pirate's hat, eye patch and Pirates Booty amenity - one per child; enjoy discounted tickets to the new Field Museum exhibition, "Real Pirates: The Untold Story of the Whydah from Slave Ship to Pirate Ship; " get a visit from the Ice Cream Man who brings his traveling ice cream cart to your room to make swashbuckler sundaes; there's also complimentary children's in-room dining from the special kids menu (for kids 12 and under). Yep - there's an indoor pool plus kids can check out a "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie or a Nintendo Wii from the Concierge. End the night with the bedtime stories butler reading pirate tales to the young bandits. Rates begin at $395 per night for the package, which is available through Oct. 25 for the duration of the exhibit. Give an "Ahoy, there" at (312) 280-8800 or pay a visit to www.fourseasons.com/chicagofs/rates_and_reservations.html.
