We need better money managers

I'm with Robert Chmela (Elgin) and Bob Allen (Huntley). Not only am I down right upset but thoroughly embarrassed. The people of Illinois as well as the entire country have been listening to these politicians tell us nothing for so long that it's become accepted. Politicians talk a lot and don't say anything. From Blago to Daley to Stroger to Obama - they're all the same. They lie.

Have the operating costs over the past 20 years risen at the same rate as the tax increases? We don't know because that info is not discussed in detail as if we either wouldn't understand it, or they don't want us to know. The state is broke, the city of Chicago is broke and the federal government't can't control or won't control their spending. Lose the overhead. How many government employees have been laid off during this latest financial fiasco? My guess is very few, if any!
