Stimulus packages just wasteful frills

I am voicing my disappointment with both U.S. Representatives for our area, Bill Foster and Melissa Bean, for supporting the recent $787 billion pork bill. Where this bill lacked in stimulus and infrastructure it made up with wasteful spending. Hard working families in this area have been trying to save money by cutting down on entertainment, doing brown bag lunches, and turning down their thermostats. We did not expect our leaders to betray us with such irresponsible fiscal policy. Frivolous spending like this is just rewarding the same groups that caused the current recession. Our children and grandchildren will be paying for these mistakes for decades.
