CARE will treat all with respect
If you watch the Lake Zurich Village Board meeting of 2/23, you will see why so many residents are tired of the current administration. The village president treats fellow citizens who disagree with him with disrespect. He rudely cut one elderly resident off when she attempted to express a dissenting opinion. This action encouraged his supporters to continue their catcalls and disruption of the meeting. He belittled a trustee when she attempted to clarify points in the redevelopment plan. Does Lake Zurich want more of poor treatment of those who John Tolomei disagrees with? We think not. The CARE party is resolute in its commitment to treat citizens with respect and dignity.
CARE believes that each resident brings something of value to the village. No citizen deserves to be treated with the disdain that John Tolomei has consistently shown those with whom he disagrees.
Our village faces many serious challenges. All opinions should be respectfully heard. If you want to be respected and valued, vote for Suzanne Branding for village president, Rich Sustich, Jonathon Sprawka and Jeff Halen for trustee, and Wende Dau for clerk on April 7.
