Roskam criticism for stimulus vote unjust

In the Jan. 7 Fence Post letter submitted by Gail Clark complaining of the "no" vote by Rep. Peter Roskam, does she really believe that President Obama actually "reached out his hand to Republicans and listened to their input?"

He just demanded that the Republicans cave in to his wishes because he "won." Does Gail realize that recent polls show that only 30 percent to 40 percent of our nation approves of the pork-laden stimulus package?

She also does not understand that most of the "pork" in the bill is payback for the election of our extreme leftist president. Please give credit to Rep. Roskam for voting "no." He should continue to stand for what's right for America.
