Octuplet mom's medical costs
We ought not to come down too hard on the mother of those octuplets. The woman obviously is in need of psychological help.
But if the state of California ends up paying the medical costs, the state's attorney general should bring suit against the irresponsible doctors who impregnated her and demand that they reimburse not only that expense but the cost of any subsequent welfare benefits to the children for the next 21 years.
