Let's call a terrorist a 'terrorist'

There is a book, called a dictionary, for which Walt Zlotow of Glen Ellyn should open and look up the word terrorism or terrorist. It seems that Walt would prefer we use different words (although he did not suggest any) that would fit in with the more politically correct, naive, style of government he and his ilk would like to move forward.

Here is one of the definitions of terrorism: "The use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce." If strapping bombs to people, flying planes into building, etc.- does not constitute violence or threats to you, then what does?

If the whole world, especially the Muslim leaders, would all come out and call them what they are "terrorists," then there might be more unity in the efforts to quash them. Unfortunately, we have people like Walt who refuse to take on the issue head on. They would rather take a politically correct method, which only prolongs the effort to quash the "war on terror".

Someday, people like Walt will face reality, and help end the terrorist threats. Hopefully, it will not be too late. Walt, what would you like to call these people? I say, call it what it is - terrorism and terrorists.
