AA spring conference this week open to all

The Northern Illinois Area of Alcoholics Anonymous plans its 36th annual spring conference "We Will Be Amazed Before We Are Halfway Through" on March 6-8 at the Westin Yorktown Lombard Hotel, Lombard.

This annual service-related conference includes nationally known and local area AA and Al-Anon speakers, service workshops, seminars, AA Conference approved literature sales, AAWC movies, AA history and archives, Alcathon (round-the-clock AA meetings), banquet and dance and other events. Entertainment acts include: comedy presentations, Saturday night dance with DJ, and live music will be provided by professional and aspiring entertainers.

The conference is open to the public. Registration is available online, by mail now, or on site beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, March 6. Registration forms and online registration at aa-nia-dist42.org/2009spring/. Basic conference registration is required to attend any event. Conference registration is $20, and the banquet is $30. The conference with the banquet is $50 per person.
