Writer taking Soapbox to court?

I just wanted to say thank you to the editorial staff for your comments about the excessive ticketing produced by the red light camera in Schaumburg for not stopping when turning right on red. I had received a ticket from the West Dundee "Photo Enforcement Program" for not stopping when turning right at the red light at Route 31 and Boncosky Road. I was turning right onto Boncosky, which dead-ends into Route 31, while traffic from Boncosky was turning left and right onto Route 31, so I would have had a green right turn light if one had existed on that light. I am contesting it (probably fruitlessly) by sending the attached letter, as well as a copy of your Saturday Soapbox, and articles from the Web citing research that these red-light cameras increase rear-end collisions.
