Seniors: Speak up for Blagojevich

It really amazes me. We supposedly live in a democratic country "with liberty and justice for all." But some of the people from the "Home of the brave" are scared to open their minds and mouths in defense of Rod Blagojevich when he needed it.

Columnists, readers, even editorials of the Daily Herald daily express accusations, insults and mockeries of him.

Where are the senior citizens of Illinois who enjoyed with gratitude the considerable help from the governor receiving Circuit Breaker, Illinois Cares Rx, etc.? I am not the only one who appreciates prescription drug assistance, license plate discounts and free transportation for disabled seniors.
