Illinois should start with simple reforms
Current problems in Illinois show the need for some action and/or legislation.
We should have an amendment for recall of all state, county and local officials. Perhaps we could have saved time and money if we could have recalled the former governor sooner.
We should have serious campaign reform with limits on contributions and public disclosure of names of contributors and amount of contributions.
We should change the time of the primary election (maybe to September) to give the governor and the legislators time to correct the mess our state is in without having to campaign and raise money.
We should abolish the Illinois tollway system, which has been a magnet for nothing but political payoffs, corruption and waste.
