'GreenRoom' auditions at Judson University

GreenRoom will hold auditions for new members at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 1 at Judson University, 1151 N. State St., Elgin. They will be auditioning for a new reality series called "Becoming GreenRoom." They will be accepting 10 contestants to take part in this competition.

The reality show will chronicle the process of choosing the next GreenRoom member with the voting help of their monthly audiences. If you think that you have what it takes to be GreenRoom's next hilarious cast member then this is for you.

They are seeking individuals, age 16 and older, who are professing Christians, have some improvisational background, and will be committed through the year to the reality series audition process, and if chosen, to becoming the next GreenRoom member starting in January.

The time commitment is two Sunday nights a month and a monthly improv show. Contestants will take part in performance challenges in rehearsals and performance spots in the improv shows. Monthly show audiences will vote on their favorite contestants, and one will be voted off each month. The last remaining contestant will become the next GreenRoom member.

Come prepared to improvise at the open auditions. No other preparation is required. There is a $25 audition fee.
