Know what your own bank is doing

It has been reported that the banks receiving the most taxpayer bailout money have attempted to import foreign workers to replace laid off American workers, not because laid off workers weren't qualified and not because they weren't good employees, but because the foreign worker will work for lower pay.

These banks are receiving welfare from American taxpayers, some of whom are the very people they are firing.

Neither the media, the banks nor the government have been all that anxious to name the participating banks. Actually, much of the media has said very little about the whole affair. The American people deserve to know who these banks are. After all, that's where the bailout money came from. It behooves all of us to find out. And if our bank is one of the traitors we should close all our banking relationships with that bank.

None of these mismanaged banks should have ever received a dime of taxpayer money in the first place. Why reward those who put the country in such a horrible financial condition? A better use of the stimulus money would be to reward banks that have performed well so they can pick up the slack.
