Let's hear from 'the people' on Burris

Roland Burris' disclosure after the fact of his conversations with Rod Blagojevich's brother shows nothing less than a willingness to skirt the truth and the law to fulfill his clearly burning ambition at any cost to return to major political office in Illinois.

At the end before his impeachment, Rod showed he had lost touch with realities of all sorts. It appears he may have appointed someone to the U.S. Senate of similar ilk.

If Burris really believes he is the best person to represent the people of Illinois, then he won't mind asking their opinion about keeping him through a special election. Let's see what "the people" say.
