Maine West Gallery offering photography exhibtion

Maine West High School announces their ninth annual Gallery 64 Photography Exhibition Opening and Artist Reception for Thursday, Feb. 26. The opening/reception is scheduled for 6:30-8 p.m., in the Maine West Learning Resource Center, 1755 S. Wolf Road, Des Plaines. Refreshments will be served and the community is invited to attend.

Out of Maine West High School's combined 14 sections of photography and digital imaging classes, approximately 350 students were able to submit artwork for the Maine West High School art staff to select over 100 student photographic works. The Gallery 64 Exhibition will include traditional darkroom photography, alternative processes and digital photographic art as part of the ongoing photography and digital imaging curriculum.

The Maine West Fine Arts Boosters will assist at the Gallery 64 Exhibition opening by serving refreshments. For additional information, call the Maine West High School Fine Arts Office at (847) 803-5895.
