Dad takes son into family business: Pimping

MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man and his teenage son have been indicted on multiple charges that include sex trafficking of children.

A federal grand jury indicted 38-year-old Todd "Tut" Carter and his 19-year-old son Nicholas Harrison on Tuesday.

The criminal complaint says Carter used his son to recruit girls as young as 16 to become prostitutes because the son was closer to their ages. It says several victims were Harrison's girlfriends before becoming prostitutes.

Carter faces six charges, and Harrison faces four. If convicted, each man faces a prison sentence of 10 years to life, plus a $250,000 fine on each count.

Carter's attorney says it's too early in the process to comment. Harrison's attorney didn't immediately return a telephone message.
