Obama's America reminiscent of Cuba

What kind of hypnotic personalities do these politicians have that bring tears to the eyes of their mesmerized audiences? I saw this happening while watching on TV the inauguration ceremonies in Washington, D. C., when some of them, including the new president, talked about the end of racism, the lifting of the American people from the doldrums of despair, the broken families, the New America he is going to build, etc.

What mechanism of the subconscious is at work that the public finds these politicians irresistible? Ah, the human psyche is very complex and we may be able to find the answers by applying some of Freud's theories.

But after the stupor, the trance and the intoxication, the hard facts must surface.

Humans are the only beings in creation that can distinguish between right and wrong, but some of these gifted politicians possess a very selective sensibility which is awakened only by our desire to keep our security intact. They don't find it repugnant to shake hands with terrorist organizations and Presidents of countries that support terrorism, or to meet and even toast Marxist assassins right here in our own hemisphere.

The human psyche is indeed complex. I remember that 50 years ago I shed a tear or two when Fidel Castro talked about the elderly, the poor, the weak, the abused, racism, the new Cuba he was going to build, etc.
