Local foodies sought for new televison series

O'Connor Casting Company is looking for foodies of all kinds in the Chicago area to be a part of a new Food Network TV series.

The show will focus on two teams who race through many of Chicago's culinary hot spots competing in challenges in the ultimate chowhound smack down.

"We're searching for connoisseurs, critics, chefs, aficionados, restaurant owners, food experts or folks who are just in a serious love affair with food," says casting director David O'Connor. "This is a great opportunity to showcase Chicago's finest foodies and the city.

The company is looking for high-energy, dynamic and competitive and physically capable two-member teams (husband and wife, parent and child, two friends, two co-workers, etc.) who are 25- to 45 years old and have some connection, knowledge or experience in the food industry.

Those interested in applying for the show should quickly send an email to food@oconnorcasting.tv and describe what makes you a foodie, who your teammate is and attach photos of both of you.
