Learn how you can avoid foreclosure, scams

Are you having trouble making your mortgage payment or facing an interest rate adjustment that you can't afford? Kane County and the Neighborhood Housing Services of the Fox Valley invite you to attend a free foreclosure prevention workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25 at the Dundee Township Park District Senior Center, 665 Barrington Ave. in Carpentersville. In this workshop, you can learn what you can do to avoid foreclosure and how to avoid scams that might cheat you out of your home.
