Cream of the crop for Oscar-night fashions

Barely there was Oscar night's strongest fashion statement - and not just because of the up-to-here slit on Heidi Klum's dress or Viola Davis' dramatic neckline.
Pale, soft shades of cream held their own against vibrant reds and glittering gold.
Of course, Freida Pinto gave the red carpet an extra burst of class and color.
Taraji P. Henson lost out on the best supporting actress Oscar, but she was a red-carpet winner in a cream-colored strapless dress with tiers of light fabric by Roberto Cavalli. Her Fred Leighton necklace was also a stunner.
