Focus on examples of good leadership

Not all CEOs are greedy. Here's an example. I got an e-mail from my CEO at AT&T, Randall Stephenson about the decision to forego management and officer pay raises in order to preserve jobs.

As I kept reading his e-mail, I read how he is giving back his bonus and my mood changed.

It really gave me hope that things are going to get better. I hope that other CEOs will take his lead and do what is right. Randall Stephenson certainly did.

I cannot tell you how much I admire him for setting a good example not only for his employees but hopefully for many others too. He also recently announced that AT&T is bringing back 5,000 jobs from overseas.
