Darwin knew what he was talking about

Evidence for the validity of the theory of evolution is substantial. There is at least some partial fossil evidence for the evolution of almost all living things on earth. A few species do not appear to have evolved at all, such as armadillos, horseshoe crabs and ginko trees. There is almost complete fossil evidence for the evolution of the modern horse. The big question still is the origin of the first horse, the first cell, the first human. The random chemical origin of the first living cell is really a "spontaneous generation" explanation clothed in scientific language and despite extensive efforts, no living thing has ever been created in the laboratory from nonliving chemicals. As all biology students know "life can only come from other life. The big remaining question is how the first life on earth came to be. No evidence for any other planet with advanced life-forms has ever been found. We may be the only planet in the entire universe with any kind of advanced life-forms. Darwin's insights have brought us a long way. Stewart E Brekke
