Daily Herald food editor joins weekly radio show

Food Editor Deborah Pankey joins Restaurant Radio Chicago Saturday for a discussion of suburban eateries and chefs with hosts Tom Reboletti and Dane Neal.

Pankey will contribute a weekly segment to the 2-year-old radio program, which airs from 5 to 6 p.m. on WIND 560-AM. Pankey will highlight local restaurants and chefs as well as seasonal recipes and topics.

While the show has "restaurant" and "Chicago" in the title, Reboletti, of Bloomingdale, says it's a forum for all things culinary in the suburbs and Chicago.

Previous shows have featured Chicago's famous chef Rick Bayless, Turano baker Paul Briganti and Adam Gertler of the Food Network's "Will Work for Food." Downloads of previously aired shows are available at restaurantradio.tv.
