St. Charles gymnasts compete in annual meet

The boys team from St. Charles Gymnastics Academy competed in the 39th annual Windy City Invite hosted by Prairie Gymnastics Club. The three-day meet took place at the University of Illinois Chicago. Competition levels ranged from level 4 all the way up to NCAA. While Windy City is the largest men's meet in the country it is also the most challenging. The boys will not face this depth of talent again until the national qualifying meets in April.

Ashton Sheedy, Scott Fuller, Sean Zimmerman, James Carroll, Will Zimmer, and Josh Clapper all ranked in the top 10 for the all-around competition. Individual event medals were also given out. Will Zimmer and Josh Clapper earned first-place medals for floor. Will Zimmer also placed first on vault along with Sean Zimmerman. Scott Fuller placed second on vault and parallel bars while Matthew Sullivan earned a third place medal for vault. The team is coached by Brian Lupo and Tom Wirth. Individual scores are as follows:
