Proposed Lake County stimulus road projects

Following is a list of projects in Lake County selected by the Illinois Department of Transportation for federal stimulus funds:

• Route 22 at Route 45/21, Lincolnshire. Intersection reconstruction. $4.8 million.

• Route 22 at Route 45/21, Lincolnshire. Construction engineering. $600,000.

• Route 60/83 from Route 120 to south of Route 176, Round Lake Park. Resurfacing. $2.96 million.

• Route 60, east of Route 21 to west of Tri-State tollway, Mettawa. Resurfacing. $1.85 million.

• Route 83, Wisconsin state line to Petite Lake Road, Antioch, Lake Villa. Widening, resurfacing, turn lanes, signal modernization. $20 million.

• Route 83, Wisconsin state line to Petite Lake Road, Antioch, Lake Villa. Construction engineering. $2.6 million.

• Route 131, Route 120 to south of Route 137, North Chicago, Waukegan. Resurfacing. $3.24 million.

• Route 137, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive/22nd Street to west of Route 41, North Chicago. Resurfacing. $4.4 million.

• Route 137 at Des Plaines River, near Libertyville. Bridge deck overlay, $575,000.

•Various locations in east Lake County. Patching. $1.5 million.

•Various locations in west Lake County. Patching. $1.5 million.
