Reverend ruined day of unity

I resented the divisive words of Joseph Lowery, Obama's hand-picked holy man who gave the inauguration benediction. Rev. Lowery's closing statement admonished whites to "embrace what is right," yet he seemed to let other colors off the hook.

"Black will not get to the back, brown can stick around, yellow will be mellow, and red will get ahead," according to Lowery. President Obama's speech on that day was well written and inspiring, but sadly the most righteous reverend's rant made me blue.
