Sharpie makes new upscale marker , stainless steel version of the classic

OAK BROOK - Sharpie is coming out with a new premium Sharpie marker, a stylish stainless steel version of the Sharpie marker, during Hollywood's biggest awards show.

The new Sharpie will feature a sleek stainless steel design, etched Sharpie logo on the barrel and a refillable cartridge.

The new Sharpie will debut at Melanie Segal's Luxury Gift Lounge on Thursday, Feb. 19 and Friday, Feb. 20.

The gift lounge is a premier celebrity-attended event leading up to the Oscars. The new Sharpie will be available in stores beginning in March. It comes with a refillable black ink cartridge and will sell for $6.99 and $1.99 for refill cartridges.
