Metra train strikes, kills man in DuPage county

Metra trains running to Aurora from Chicago were delayed overnight after a train struck and killed a man in unincorporated DuPage County near Naperville at 12:40 a.m.

Officials said morning rush hour trains are not affected by the delay and that service is running on time.

The incident occurred near North Aurora Road and Ogden Avenue, near the Ogden Avenue crossing gate.

Two trains were delayed about an hour while authorities investigated the incident, officials said.

DuPage County sheriff police would only say a death investigation is ongoing and would not comment at this time.
