Child porn charges filed against Aurora man

A long-term investigation resulted in child pornography charges being lodged against a far east side Aurora man.

Steven Pounders, 50, of the 0-99 block of Braxton Lane, was charged last week with possession of child pornography. On Sept. 8, 2006, the Illinois Attorney General's office did an undercover investigation through several Web sites known to offer child pornography.

During the investigation, Pounders allegedly offered videos to the undercover investigator that contained child porn. In November, 2006, a search warrant was executed at Pounders' home and his computer and related items were seized. Evidence was recovered from the
