Doctor's group to offer services to those who can't afford them
On Feb. 13-20, the Elgin Noon Kiwanis Club and the Fox River Valley Dental Society will sponsor the 20th annual "Doctors With a Heart" program, which provides free professional services to local residents who otherwise could not afford these services. Many area professionals will participate including dentists and optometrists. This day is not intended for those who have any type of insurance coverage or who are able to pay for their treatment. During the week of Feb. 13-20, the following groups of professionals will offer these services at no charge.
Dentists: Any procedures that can be completed in one appointment. By appointment only.
