Teen cited after driving into Grayslake house
A Gurnee teen has been cited with improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after crashing a vehicle into a house near Grayslake, officials said.
Jorge Robles, 17, of Lamb Lane, was not injured after driving 60 feet over a lawn and into the front of a house into the 33000 block of Greentree Place late Sunday night, Lake County Sheriff spokesman Sgt. Christopher Thompson said.
Robles was driving a 1987 Buick about 8:30 p.m. when he slid off the road, through the front yard, and into the dining room of the house, Thompson said. Robles also knocked over a street sign.
