Car plows into house near Grayslake; no one injured

A teenager drove his 1987 Buick more than 50 feet off the road and into a house Sunday night, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 8:30 p.m. Sunday on the 33000 block of Greentree Road in unincorporated Lake County, near Grayslake.

A Lake County Sheriff's Office sergeant said the driver, a 17- or 18-year-old male, also knocked over a street sign before plowing into the home's dining room. No one was injured in the crash.

No further details were known.
