Saints look good beating Lake Park; ACC rolls
St. Charles East coach Brian Clodi was pleased with the latest strong showing by the Saints, a 53-38 win over Lake Park Saturday night in St. Charles.
Twelve different Saints scoreds. Kevin Senechalle led St. Charles East with 11 points.
Clodi is proud of his team's work ethic and believes it will make a difference for the rest of the season.
"The guys played extremely hard and are starting to play great as a team," Clodi said. "They are starting to believe in the execution on offense and they're picking it up on defense."
The Saints have won three straight games and are 6-14 overall.
Aurora Central 82, Manley 52: The Chargers reached the 20-win mark by beating visiting Manley from the Chicago Public League.
Anthony Kelley led the Chargers (20-2) with 28 points, Mike Adams scored 20 and Joey Guth 9.
